With the thematic focus "Sustainability Management for Industries" (SMI), the Chair of WBW promotes the exchange of knowledge on the topics of sustainability and energy transformation among scientists and practitioners as an interdisciplinary discussion platform. Since 2005, the Chair has successfully organized the SMI Congress every two years. In 2024, the "SMI Online Forum" will be offered for the first time in cooperation with EURECA-PRO; international speakers from science and industry will discuss current topics on the "green transformation" of European industrial companies in this new online format.

"Sustainability Management for Industries" is aimed at managers of future-oriented organizations as well as employees and scientists from the fields of energy, environmental, innovation and sustainability management.
