Areas of Research
For the Chair WBW, the three areas of research are:
- Resource Economics
- Energy Management
- Business Analytics
In those thematic areas the chair is active as part of its performance processes. The decision to establish a research area is based on both the market-oriented and the resource-based approach in accordance with the mission statement. The systematic examination of stakeholders and their needs enables targeted development and management in these areas.

Increase production value, conserve resources and minimize emissions via effective energy management
Deploy digital tools and data analytics to foster advanced energy management and ecological accounting
