The Chair WBW has a position for a full-time University Assistant (m/f/d). Salary Group B1 according to the UNI-KV, monthly minimum salary exkl. Szlg.: € 3.776,10 for 40 hours per week (14x per year), actual classification is according to previous relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Joint development of the subject "Integrated optimization of energy and material input into industrial production processes"
• Energy management, asset management and production management
• Further development of economic evaluation methods for resource optimization
• Development of concepts to avoid industrial climate-damaging emissions
• Planning, coordination and joint execution of research projects
• Joint as well as independent teaching
• Supervision of student research projects
• Completion of a dissertation in the research area being described above

Employment requirements

• Master degree (business engineering, energy economics, energy technology, process engineering, …)
• Interest in topics at the interface of energy management, production management and economics
• Convincing writing and oral communication skills in German language
• Self-responsibility, organization skills, team spirit, high reliability (especially in cooperation with industrial partners) and very good communication skills
• Willingness to travel

Desirable additional qualifications

• Experience with management systems (especially with ISO 14001, ISO 50001)
• Experience with material and energy flows (Sankey diagrams, …)
• Foreign language (very good writing and oral communication skills in English)
